I'm Salman, I've managed multi-billion dollar compensation pools and multi-billion dollar portfolios, led global teams and led large-scale transformative projects. I've advised C-suite executives at some of the world's most competitive and successful firms to clarify strategic objectives and goals and mobilized front-line teams to hit those ambitious targets.
But behind the titles and achievements, I was restless. Every few years, I would find myself bored or unfulfilled — even in roles I once loved. It wasn’t until I worked with a career consultant myself that I discovered a measurable, repeatable process for finding truly satisfying work. And now, I’d like to help you do the same.
A bit more about me: most recently, I was the Global Head of Compensation Operations & Enablement at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager; in my seat I served on the Global Corporate Hedging Operations Committee and co-chaired the Role Architecture Governance Group. Prior to that I was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group where I tackled topics across animal pharmaceuticals, organizational transformation, start-up launches and digital wealth. I started my career at BlackRock as a junior portfolio manager in the Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions business and also held roles in the Global Product Strategy group. I graduated from the multi-disciplinary MMM program at Northwestern University with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and MS Design Innovation from the McCormick School of Engineering. I have an undergraduate degree in history & economics from Columbia University.
